Digital wallets (fintech) and financial inclusion of commercial mypes in the Puno region

Abstract

Digital wallets are Fintech (Financial technology) that focus as a means of payment that have appeared as a form of disruptive financial innovation of business models and that allow the transformation of traditional financial services and give way to the use of new financial means of payment such as Yape, Plin, Tunki and others that accelerate consumer services through the maximum use of technological resources and fundamentally allows many sectors of the population without access to financial services the opportunity to access markets with the use of this new technology, this also favors the segment of the MSMEs to speed up their transactions and reach their true potential in their economic operations. Fintech is here to stay, and is being consolidated as a form of financial inclusion for clients and companies, which allows the use of cash to be reduced and the eradication of fraud. Precisely, this innovative financial tool refers to the use of technology and innovation applied to the transformation of traditional financial services and the creation of new financial experiences at the service of consumers; Therefore, the purpose of the research was to evaluate how Fintech can be an alternative for financial inclusion of Commercial Mypes in the Puno Region. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional, explanatory and quantitative, the data collection techniques used are observation and survey. The results of the research allow us to demonstrate that the use of new financial technologies at the service of the population and the Mypes of the Puno Region are an alternative to financial inclusion with exponential growth projections that accelerate economic operations in the markets.
