Abstract

The research entitled “Socioeconomic factors that influence the learning achievements of I.E.S. Cesar Vallejo de Moro, Paucarcolla, Puno, 2021” had as general objective: to determine to what extent socioeconomic factors influence student learning achievements. The methodology applied was explanatory, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population was made up of 68 students and the sample was non-probabilistic, the applied technique was the survey and the questionnaire as an instrument. The hypothesis was tested using Pearson’s chi square, obtaining results that socioeconomic factors significantly influence student learning achievement (p<0.05.); where 35.3% obtained learning level “in process”, that is, they have grades of 11-13 points, which means that the student is on the way to achieving the expected achievement but requires follow-up and support to be able to achieve it, on the other on the other hand, it was found that only 2.9% reached “outstanding achievement”.
