Originality and antiplagiarism
The Chief Editor and the Editorial Board of the Revista de Investigaciones, sponsored by the Graduate School of the UNA Puno, use the specialized software “Turnitin Original”, which allows the revision of Original Articles, Short Communications and Review Articles, ensuring that they do not exceed 20% similarity. This process verifies the degree of similarity with other sources, such as web pages, libraries, books, own databases, theses and other scientific articles, with the intention of avoiding plagiarism and preserving copyright.
In the norms of the journal, authors are requested to write in the form of short and fluid sentences, between 1 to 3 lines per cited author. This recommendation prevents authors from intellectual plagiarism.
The editorial committee will review the original manuscript through the TURNITIN software, and it should reach a maximum of 20% of duplicity of text. If it exceeds this percentage, it will be returned to the author to make the necessary corrections, attaching the proof of the analysis. The Revista de Investigaciones uses the similarity control criteria described in its regulations:
